Nescio

Jan Hendrik Frederik Grönloh

I stood at the Tower of Rhenen and saw the afar, and my heart was drawn to the distance and to the red skies in the West.
But could I have flown from the tower to the horizon, I would only have found that the distance had become close and again my heart would have pulled into the distance.
And what does benefit me the wisdom, that teaches me that it cannot be otherwise and will remain so forever?
